In two short days, I’ll be headed to the Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards (GGPAA) with the Darling, Incredibly Handsome Husband. This Saturday, June 11th, we’ll be attending the National Arts Centre to attended this premiere event which will feature film portraits by the National Film Board, awesome performances and tributes by guest stars Chantal Kreviachuk and more!

Oh NOOOOO.  Bike shorts are apparently back. This may not be a surprise to some of my favourite bloggers (check out the award-winning The Drunken Cyclist and his fantastic Ohmygod series for some serious belly laughs), but it’s news to me…or is it?

How about a “bike suit”? Can I just say that this is the best movie ever?

Funny story: after finishing a 5K run after work, I realized that I’d forgotten my access pass to the office on my desk. So, no access to the showers for me. I berated myself as I climbed into my car while sweating buckets. Of course, I was meeting a couple of friends at an event in 30 minutes, so I resigned myself to the fact that A) I could either cancel or C) show up looking (and smelling) like a sweaty mess.

Have you ever found a clothing brand that seemed like it was made for you? I have. It’s Ted Baker.

I remember my first trip to Vegas a few years ago, my good friend Jen and I shopping happily at Caesar’s Palace. Ted Baker London came into view and Jen stopped and asked if I had ever bought anything there. I admitted to her that I had never even heard of it. She grabbed me by the hand and ushered me through the threshold of this flowery, whimsical wonderland and I was sold.  Thanks, Jen!
