As we all know, this year’s Oscars Award Show was “interesting”. With the uproar over the lack of diversity of nominees (#OscarsSoWhite), to the frankly, quite boring selection of movies for Best Picture, I didn’t really plan on watching.
I couldn’t help but tune in though at 11:30pm, just to see my boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio win his much-deserved Oscar. In actuality, I cheered so loud when he won that I woke up my husband. Hey! LEO DESERVED IT! Continue reading Oscars 2016: Best & Worst Dressed
I’ve always enjoyed photography. It’s an art form that I’ve had an interest in since I was a kid. There is something about capturing a touching moment, fun times, incredible landscapes or unbelievable happenings that really resonates with me.
As I sat in the living room on Valentine’s Day happily munching away on the chocolates my hubby bought me, I stared outside at the Arctic-tundra like conditions dreaming of spring.
Despite it being -500C outside, I’m heartened knowing that there is only a few more weeks of horrible winter left. You know what that means? Spring fashion is right around the corner. Continue reading Moto Jacket Street Style

Statistics displayed on The Guardian may indicate that 47% more people are purchasing clothes and footwear online compared to two years ago, yet some of us are still struggling to get the handle of it. One of the little things in life that makes me very happy is a set of fluffy, white, Downy-scented towels. You can find a set in every bathroom in my house.
This love was tested by crappy facial cleansers. Sick of having my white towels looking like they’d been shot by Homer’s makeup gun, I decided to set out on a difficult quest to find the perfect cleanser that effectively removed all of my makeup without stripping my face of its natural oils. I thought it was high time to start double-cleansing to ensure I’m washing all that makeup off on a daily basis. Continue reading Wash, Rinse, Repeat: The Double Cleansing Method
During my trip to Paris in 2014, I popped into an opulent little shop on the Rue de Seine named Cire Trudon. Dark and moody, this little boutique’s walls were covered in rich black and gold wallpaper and displays made of black, lacquered wood. I stared in awe as the sales associate greeted me in the typical “laissez-faire” French attitude. Continue reading The Allure Of The Incredibly Expensive Candle
