Bag Bliss: Alexander McQueen Heroine Tote

So, it’s safe to say that my Chanel Bag saving is dead in the water. Yes – I’m disappointed in myself. Sigh.

I was severely sidetracked when the opportunity presented itself to own this beauty: the Alexander McQueen Heroine Bag.

My good pal Jenny and I went on a shopping trip to Selfridge’s last March and this lovely bag stopped us dead in our tracks. With her lady-like structure, mixed materials of smooth calfskin and suede, we oohed and ahhed over her, checked her price tag, stared at each other in dismay and continued on.

Now…SHE’S MINE! ALL MINE!! While I’m sad that I didn’t reach my Chanel Bag goal, I’m really happy that I’m now in possession of a unique purse that I have never seen anyone one else carrying and that I’m pretty positive I will never get sick of. This bag is also a worthy investment, and is now a centerpiece in my closet. With her refined lines, elegant suede interior and stamped leather, she will bring a touch of class to any outfit. I consider myself very lucky to be able to own something like this.
