I couldn’t think of a better time for over-the-knee (OTK) boots to be in. We are enjoying an unseasonably warm winter with highs approaching a downright balmy 10ºC on most days.
Well, another New York Fashion Week is about to come to a close, and as per usual, it did not disappoint. I had the chance to finally sit down and watch some of the shows last night live streaming from New York, and wanted to share some of my favourite looks.

I don’t generally watch awards shows. I find them too long, too boring and always cringeworthy. From the embarrassing speeches to the embarrassing behaviour…it’s just too much. From what I’ve read this morning, the VMAs confirmed my thoughts on awards shows. Justin Bieber’s strange emotional performance, the “ladylike” behavior of Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus’ ridiculous outfit and Kanye declaring his bid for the presidency in 2020? The House of Balmain has just released a sneak peek of its Fall/Winter 2015 campaign featuring famous sister acts Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Gigi and Bella Hadid, and Joan and Erika Smalls (ashamed to say that I didn’t even know that Joan Smalls had a sister).
