I love Shoppers Drug Mart. It’s one of my favourite stores of all time. Why, you ask? Because I can get lost in there forever amongst its thousands of great offerings.  Many times I have run in only needing Bandaids, and come out with bags full of cosmetics, lotions, potions, groceries, decorations, pet food, etc.

My earliest memories of Shoppers Drug Mart were shopping jaunts with my mom. While she tried out perfumes in the beauty section, I would salivate over their huge offering of jumbo-sized Bonnebell Lipsmakers. As a teenager, my friends and I would congregate at Shoppers after school to buy everything we read about in Teen Magazine, from Malibu Musk to Sea Breeze anti-acne astringent (wow – I’m really dating myself). Skin Destroyers: Avoid These Pitfalls

Ok. I’m officially obsessed with skin care. Maybe it’s because I’ve reached a certain age and I find my dark circles now refuse to go away, and I am getting tiny moles everywhere thanks to being a self-proclaimed sun worshipper. One of my New Year’s Resolutions was to take much better care of my skin. I thought that may be easier to attain and make me happier than the usual “Spend Less”, “Exercise More”, “Drink Less”, “Buy a Chanel Bag” and “Buy More Shoes” resolutions that I make year after year.
